Active Parramatta Van – Better Ageing fitness at home

The Active Parramatta Van’s Better Ageing fitness at home is a free program that has been specifically developed for our over 55’s community. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, this program has been designed for you participate from the comfort of your own home. The below programs are delivered online via zoom, or through program booklets which our trainers can take you through over the phone.

Please read the Terms and Conditions of the Active Parramatta Online Programs before registering. 

Term 4 classes: registrations open at 9am on Monday 21 September

Better Ageing Mobility Flow

Yoga inspired poses which gradually promote mobility while gently strengthening and aligning the body. Breathing techniques and mindfulness practices are integrated to enhance emotional wellbeing.

Better Ageing Cardio Fit

Low to moderate intensity exercises to keep your heart and lungs healthy. This program is a slightly more intense adaptation of the Seniors Gentle Exercise program.

Better Ageing Strength & Energy: Fitness for Men

Learn how to regain your strength and muscle mass, as well as boost energy levels.

Better Ageing Dance Fit

Gently increase your mobility with aerobic-style dance. You will move through seated and standing exercises to great music.

Better Ageing Seniors Gentle Exercise

Increase mobility and physical activity while decreasing joint pain through gentle exercise.

Better Ageing Holistic Fitness

Increase confidence to exercise and gain gradual exposure to the many aspects of health and wellbeing. 
Date: Thursdays, 22 October - 10 December
Time: 9am – 12pm
Location: You will be guided through this program via an instructional program booklet delivered to you via email or post. A weekly timeslot will be allocated upon request and participants can directly communicate with a health professional for guidance.
