    RESIDENT PARKING PERMIT

As of the 3rd of July 2017, all applications will be treated as 'new'applications.

The Permit gives you the freedom to park your vehicle conveniently and safe from the risk of Parking violations. To qualify for one:
You must be a resident within the specific area you are requesting a permit for. View residential parking scheme zones here.

    • If you are in one of the zones, you can request ONE or TWO residential parking permits and ONE visitor parking permit, which can be interchangable.
    • Resident/Visitor parking permits are only valid for 1 year, after which a new application will need to be submitted
    • If you move away from the zone, you must cancel your parking permit.
    • The costs of the permits are based on 2019-2020 City of Parramatta Fees and Charges; which are subject to change each financial year.
    • Refunds are not available once a permit has been issued
    • Resident parking permits are now stickerless and we will only be providing physical stickers for Vistor  permits only.

    • Current NSW driver's license
    • If you are the resident of a property and require a visitor parking permit but do not have a NSW driver’s license, you need to provide NSW photo ID card and one utility bill (for the address in the permit zone) or a current lease agreement in your name or an accompanying rates notice
