Epping Aquatic Centre
Epping Aquatic Centre will commence summer hours on Tuesday 6 October with COVID-19 measures in place, in line with government health requirements.
We’ll be offering two-hour sessions with a maximum occupancy of 150 people in any given session. Further measures that will be put in place are detailed below:
- Social distancing will be monitored by the “On Deck” team.
- A “Swim, Wrap and Leave” policy will be in place and change rooms will remain closed. Toilet facilities will be open.
- The centre will close for a deep clean during the following hours:
- 11.30am to 1.30pm, Monday to Friday.
- 1pm to 3pm, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. Hand sanitising will be available to all customers.
- A reminder announcement will be made 15 minutes prior to the session ending.

Dence Park masterplan
City of Parramatta Council is currently undertaking a master plan for Dence Park, which includes Epping Aquatic Centre and the Epping Creative Centre.
The project started in 2018. In October and November 2018, Council asked the community for their ideas on the future of Dence Park.
There will be further community engagement opportunities in 2019. Look out for these opportunities and keep up-to-date with the progress of the Dence Park Master Plan by visiting the project webpage.
Council pool facilities now offer free entry for Seniors on Tuesdays.
From September 1, free aquatic passes will be available at Epping Aquatic Centre and Macarthur Girls High School Pool to NSW Seniors Card or Disability Pension Card holders who live within the Parramatta Local Government Area.
To take advantage of this offer you will need to complete a registration form and provide a valid NSW Seniors Card or Disability Pension Card plus proof of your residential address at the swimming centre reception. Acceptable proof of address documents includes: utility tax invoice (gas, water or electricity), NSW Driver’s License or City of Parramatta Rates Notice.
The pools are currently operating under restrictions due to COVID-19. Bookings to swim are essential and can be made up to three days in advance by calling respective pool reception teams. Epping Aquatic Centre reception 9806 5633 and Macarthur Girls High School Pool reception: 9806 5700.
